Mollet del Vallès is located on the first metropolitan ring, 15 minutes from Barcelona, and has excellent communication links: AP-7, C-33, C-58, C-17 and C-59.
It is a medium-sized town (population 53,000) with its own distinctive character. Thanks to the development of new urban spaces and the conversion of obsolete spaces, it has become a benchmark for other municipalities in the region.
The area called El Calderí is still to be developed and integrated into the urban centre. It will probably be the last major urban and commercial development in the Vallès region. One of the first projects projected will provide a 56,000 m2 commercial and leisure area at the south-west end of the sector. This location will make the shopping centre a gateway into and out of the city.
