The President of ALACAT, Galo Molina, has explained that “the 2016 experience was very enriching for all the congressmen who attended from Latin America and Europe and the only way not to lose these important links that were made is to return”. Molina has added that “the ALACAT 2019 Congress will focus on 4.0 logistics and we will talk about digitalization, startups, new technological trends that are emerging and that we must have. As a logistics person, I feel overwhelmed by the change and the revolution that is coming, so we must be prepared and know first-hand all these new trends. “

A safe international trade

The 3rd edition of the International Congress of Authorized Economic Operators (OEAs) will be one of the InTrade Summit BCN highlights. This important congress, which will be attended by more than 300 professionals from the customs association and international trade, will be focused on the importance of safety in transport. In this sense, Antonio Llobet, President of the International Association of Authorized Economic, Customs and Logistics Operators, has commented that “this year we will discuss very attentively the key aspects of security in the trade processes and deliveries, because this issue concerns all participants in the logistics chain in all its links, from importers and exporters to customs agents, shipping companies, transporters, freight forwarders, consignees, terminal operators and the institutions involved.”

The MedaLogistics Summit will highlight the importance of the sector
